Mug of the Year 2023 | Clachan

Named after the Gaelic word for stones, our 2023 Mug of the Year features a glaze that is made from natural local stones. Ullapool Limestone and Stoer Beach Sand create a beautiful, unique finish that’s both rustic and modern.

The reaction of the glaze in our high temperature firing, makes each one truly special. This variation gives the mug an organic and natural feel that will be appreciated by anyone who loves nature and its elements.

This mug will be produced until the end of the year and each piece is numbered and painted by our Ullapool based decorator Susan Brown
